Had mah joyride yesterday! Man it was fun. my pilot was BG Gary Yeo, who happens to be Mark's uncle :P.
Wanted to get front seat, but lost when we played Oh Ya Peh Ya Som. Haiz, so had to contend with the back seat. Cockpit small and cozy, but it could get quite warm if we were stationary. 40+ sorties on the flight simulator definitely made me much much more familiar with the plane's instruments and the surrounding scenery, than my other two companions. First we were taken to 1500 ft. then we turned, went down to Alpha training area, above Pierce reservoir. Then we went to Bukit Timah Hill, made two 2 G turns. (in layman terms, during a 2G turn u feel twice ur weight.) so yah, then we climbed to 4000 ft as we proceeded into Bravo training area. There our dear co pilot, (which i so wanted to be) took control for around 5 seconds. Then we circled and had a magnificent view from one side of singapore the the next. We were sooo lucky to have good visibility on that day. As the timer on the instrument panel clocked 25 mins, our pilot took us down to 1500 ft, and made an approcach towards seletar, at 800 ft. Due to the fact that my landings on the simulator SUCKS, i tried to pick up some tips from the pilot. However, on the 800 ft approach, it was a missed one, I think i heard ATC asking him to perform a missed approach. So he pulled up. On the next approach, we came in at 500 ft. This time, airspeed, 75 knots, VSI -5, Flaps 30 deg, i couldnt really see the glide path, so yeah, that was it. Everything was maintained until flare height, and touchdown. Yay, what a fun flight, hahaz. Mr Chan said that wasnt even chapter 1, so fine. I guess someday we'll all get used to having members of the opposite sex being in such close proximity during school hours. yay. LT 1, so big, so cold. Yah, i mean like relative to other orientations... hmmm, Point 1: received lotsa negative comments from people in other JCs. So now i'm like dam worried whether i can stay after these 3 months. We had something like flag day on the last day. Coffee club was soooo cool, they emptied their whole donation box for us. (^.^) so we had one of the heaviest tins. I just realised singaporeans, on the whole are alright, but that's only based on 1+ hours of flag day-ing, so maybe it's not that accurate. i'm such a failure, i cant really remember the people's names in my OG, as in, i still cant really attach names to faces. oh well, o nite was really fun cos we danced and danced... but still, tian xia wu bu shan zhi yan xi, and we all broke up and went home at.... 9.45. but i stayed at S-11 playground, hearing the mad ranting of - Goh Siak Yong. Refer to point 1. People who were there were zhao han, ngiap, siak, dehui, why is it our group is left with these? man, i hope everyone like makes it in O's. yea, that would be the nicest thing. dreamt at 1/08/2005 11:54:00 AM, 0 comments ok what to blog about, ah chalet and new year went chalet on the 29th, prepare hotdogs and corn and stuff and played risk. broke my bloody nail -_-" dammit now i dunnoe whether i can wear a shoe on the first day of school oh and chatted with 糖果。。 den 2nd day of chalet, played risk and cards lost all my coins and aqua money :P den had dinner, BBQ. drank XO, Bacardi breezers and Booz, but not enough, not enough. 3rd day, went cycling in the rain, super heavy rain. got cat 1 warning somemore, dam scary. went to dhoby ghaut to find mah primary sch frends den bought some stuff and went to Xianhui's house to countdown had mahjong session, card session, and lightstick war session. before all these we had KFC and Pizza for dinner. slept like a log woke up and went home to put mah stuff. den bathed and went out to get mah retainers back. came back and slept. today is sunday, and i decided to lag one day b4 blogging. tml sch is reopening my OG is Zev'Feior. i decided if they are going to ask us to get ourself an I.D or something i would call myself Rayth'Dan so fully it would be Rayth'Dan of Zev'Feior lolz Rayth'Dan came from Rayden, which is mah game I.D haiz, i seemed to be a little phobic of sch reopening. i dun wan orientation i only wan to study i'm life-less.
