Emma Watson, muahaha. Harry Potter was pretty good, except that it didn't really stick that closely to the actual story line. I mean, even 2 hours 40 minutes isn't really enough to pack Goblet of Fire in it. So yeah, pretty good effort, looking forward to Order of the Pheonix. I think they'll have to have a change of cast by then, Daniel Radcliffe looks too old. I don't mind Emma Watson though. =p Rupert Grints defintely off the age limits. Movie, fucking ex. I'm burning up my fiscal reserves. So I've decided to spend less, and start on my homework. Holiday homework. Don't look at me like that. dreamt at 11/22/2005 09:02:00 PM, 0 comments My bedroom, with store, and master bedroom. bedroom's on left. who wants to hire me as interior designer? muahaha. dreamt at 11/14/2005 02:33:00 PM, 0 comments Awareness... In our slow moving world, awareness is almost like a sixth sense. You know what is coming, what is gonna pass by you, you anticipate, people are impressed by your ability to seem to know what is gonna happen even when you're not even looking. You can predict, not by chance, but by observations made by your subconcious self combined with instinct. You can dodge, you can sidestep, you become more nimble. This sense of awareness can be trained, but what for? We have almost no use for an acute sense of awareness when our conscious mind is already enough to process what is going on in the normal speed of the world. But put yourself in a plane, a fighter, at 300 knots cruising. 300 knots = 555.6 km/h = 154.3 m/s. You take 1 second to react to events, your plane has 154.3 metres out of control. Almost everything has to be instinctive. Given the speeds around you, there is no space for error. There is too much information for your conscious mind to cope, that your subconscious mind takes over, computing the reflexes that put your plane into a dive, a climb, or a bank. Such is the same with high speed sports. Awareness is no longer a luxury. Awareness is a tool, an essential tool. Lose that, you lose everything. dreamt at 11/10/2005 09:32:00 PM, 0 comments |
