Alright, its around 6 hours and 10 mins away from 2006. Im gonna leave my house soon for the countdown, bleh, how I wish that I can split into 3 so that I can go to the countdown at: Sentosa, Marina, Boon Lay and Orchard. That would be fun. h3h. Anyways, it has been a freaking short year for me, I mean, I was hardly getting used to JC life and here I am, gonna land my ass in JC 2 soon. Guess the army won't be far away either. So HERE are my plans for next year: Get my flying license. Get my driving license. Try not to screw my A lvls. Get silver for NAPFA. lol, thats one shitty plan, but hey, at least I've got one. So looking back on the year, there were fun and bad times, slack and stressful times. Life in RJ is quite boring cos I dun really feel like participating in anything, I mean, nothing's ever fun without my buddies around anymore, cept for of course, Zhao Han and D3hu1. Those two changed a shitload from sec school, I don't know if I have changed, but those two sure as hell did lol. Well, still, life is better with those two mofos around. Inertia, thanks for all the good times, and all the sessions this year. Wish you guys will rock the crowd in FS next year. Kudos. And to Nic, thanks for the pool sessions lol. Its mah good fortune to play with t3h pWn3r0r. Thanks to everyone who has made my year better, and for those who made it worse, I know you didn't mean it ;) Happy new year! PS: To all teh people who think it has been a bad year, look on the bright side. Its gonna be over. LOL. dreamt at 12/31/2005 05:52:00 PM, 0 comments 0 comments King Kong was really good. I walked into the cinema expecting a cheesy movie, but it was totally not what i was expecting. I mean, what else can u expect from a movie which has a chiobu, a 7.6 m tall gorilla, 3 T-rexes, bunch of pony sized insects, and some weird primitive tribe? 3 hours 6 minutes long, you've got to agree it's a little too lengthy, but the whole film covers how Kong gets to New York and dies there. Pretty interesting storyline, and Kong has done a pretty good job at eye contact with Ann (Naomi Watts), considering he has no dialogue to express his feelings and acting skills to a hundered percent. Soulful eyes, and the art of not speaking, reaches out and tugs at the heartstrings of the audience. Especially the part where they view the sunset together, one's the first in Kong's home, the other, Kong's last sunset, on top of the Empire State building. Pretty sad way to die, gettin shot down by planes. I thought he was gonna be handicapped or something, and get sent back to Skull Island, guess this story doesn't have a happy ending like Mighty Joe Young. The way his iris dilates when he dies, the life in them just fading away, great job the producers have done. But at least they could have let him die on top of the Empire State, and not let him fall 101 stories, he's already dead man, show Kong some respect. He totally pwned 3 T-rexes, 1 v 3, tore one of their jaws a 120 angle. 1337. Anyway, I give King Kong 3 and a half stars out of 5. If the film could be more concise, it'll get a 4. Kong rocks. dreamt at 12/14/2005 07:31:00 PM, 0 comments |
