It's Silent Weapon sung by the voice actress of Asakura Yoh. It's not a touching song whatsoever, but I seem to be very engrossed in it. The few phrases that caught me were... 黄泉の国にむかうのは すべてなしとげて それまで 心して生きよう meaning, "We'll all go to the land of the dead when we have finished our lives. But until then, let's live with all our heart." and... いつかの月曜の朝 祖父が呟いた 『今日は死ぬにはいい日だ』と そう 確かに This monday my grandpa said "Today is a good day to die.." Ah, so it is. Woah the effect these two stanzas had on me was profound. Since no one really looks at my blog anymore, I might as well write what I really feel just in case the future me looks back at this. And Weng, if you see this in the future, don't be that surprised nor comment that you were stupid whatsoever. It's who you are. Many people see me as aloof, often making jokes and treating life easy. Yea maybe I wish to bring some laughter into people's lives. But it hasn't been easy on me either. I envy Asakura Yoh, and almost all the characters in Shaman King not just because they have a spirit, a close confidant, but they also have a close circle of friends who are willing to die for each other. I'm an only child, and I'm not really good at socialising either, due to reasons unknown to even myself. Sometimes I really wish I could have a sentient friend by my side. Doesn't have to be human, I could talk to anything, as long as it can talk back to me, I would be very much satisfied, even if it might be a spirit or anything. Anyway, that's out of the question. Maybe one day I'll grow out of all this, maybe I won't. Anyway I sure hope I can be like Yoh, so I'll change myself. For better or for worse, I don't know either. But I'll live with all my heart, until the day I go to the land of the dead. dreamt at 7/31/2006 09:05:00 PM, 0 comments Gave my blog a mouth to mouth, it's alive! Just finished Commons 2. Got ABDO, stupid f maths and economics. hoho, i'm going downhill. Watch Pirates of the Caribbean 2 today, giving it 8 out of 10. 2 lost due to the ending, too much anticipation for the audience. Really great plot, not draggy at all throughout the movie. Even sitting at the first row did not deter us from watching the movie intently. It was good, it was good. New pic above, and of course, I was inspired to get it after watching POTC:2. Also read up some stuff on ships etc, and about the storyline of POTC:3. Looks like the next instalment is going to be really vulnerable to spoilers, so people who get to watch it first, do not spoil it for others (even though I already know roughly 50% of the plot, and Chow Yun Fatt is starring in it).
