Music is damn powerful. I listen to Jay when I go to work, and club hits when i knock off. it's all in the routine already. And I can only blog when listening to music! Things are heating up in 2009. I'm picking up the pace in the office, and off working hours there are sooo many birthdays to attend. so many people are turning 21 eh, stepping into the big ocean and getting their feet wet. I'm still the penguin waiting at the back of the line, sometime in July then I'll take the great dive. Recently got a new group of kakis. i guess my short stint at RE wasn't in vain at all. Managed to know some funny guys and sweet gals along the way. These are the people who are going to uni with me I hope. It's been such a long time since I received my A level results, can feel the age gap alrdy haha... Now got kbox, timbre and club kakis, left pool. need to widen my pool network haha. Aspire to join NTU pool/snooker club! Art of Life by X-Japan dreamt at 1/19/2009 09:09:00 PM, 0 comments Rat race. That's what 75% of the people are running nowadays. I have just started my working life. Now I'm at some company helping out with random documentation and errands, earning enough to finance purchases that make me happy, as well as the always handy alcohol. Besides that I'm also saving for a trip that hopefully will come true at the end of my working stint, prolly around June/July. Gotta go for one good trip before uni, and enjoy before I start the studying phase again. In this current job I run places. And it sure opened my eyes. The sheer amount of people is staggering. I thought Raffles Place was crowded. Then there was Tanjong Pagar. Then Buona Vista. It's crazy. Sheer madness. People going to work day in day out, doing the same things that earn them a salary enough to sustain a family, but nothing much more. Rat Race. What is earnt is spent. I do not want to be in this position. Then one will have to earn way more, and then get out of this vortex. It's like a rocket firing into space, your salary is the thrust. It has to be more than the escape velocity (deficits in life) for you to launch successfully into space. How many people have done so? Many. People who own their own businessess, millionaires, multi-billionaires. It can be done. You just gotta find a way, a source of that rocket fuel to launch you into the great beyond. And when you're up there, all you see is a serene blue planet. But deep down you know it's a crazy, frantic battlefield scenario down there. dreamt at 1/14/2009 09:24:00 PM, 0 comments |
